single space: Can’t Keep Saying Goodbye, by Animals in the Attic, Madi Sipes & The Painted Blue, Dent May
a smooth sound comes from a three-way collaboration from California
I can't hold on forever
I need you to decide
Can’t Keep Saying Goodbye is a single written by Spencer Ian Rakela of Animals in the Attic, a band from Sacramento, and produced with the contribution of Madi Sipes & The Painted Blue, from San Francisco, and Dent May, from Los Angeles.
An entirely Californian creation, which delivers that sound right from the beginning.
It's a song in which one can't manage to say goodbye: perhaps because we return to where we felt good, perhaps because we still can't tell you "I hate you" after having said "I love you".
The sound is a fresh - not icy - wave from the Californian Pacific, and the voices involved are all warm, well balanced: they immediately make you want to hear them live.
Despite seeming like a not very layered song, in reality beyond the standard equipment of electric guitars, synth, drums and drum pedals there are also voices used in varied ways, especially in the pre-choruses.
And the outro is worth the price - especially live!
Yes, no, maybe
Do you love me or do you hate me?
